The 9th Ravno Selo Film Festival, an international festival dedicated to first and second feature films, concluded with the official awards ceremony followed by the screening of „Accomplices“, directed by Marko Novaković. Over the course of four days, the festival welcomed filmmakers, guests from Serbia and abroad, emerging talents and audiences to Ravno Selo. A total of 29 films. were screened across three competition programmes. The festival programme also featured the official reopening of the renovated House of Culture, a film music concert, an art colony, a comic book workshop, film workshops for young participants, and numerous accompanying events.

The Main Competition Programme, featuring 12 films, including five national premieres, was evaluated by an international jury chaired by Glauce Valdini, Director of the Italian Film Institute. The other jury members were director Dejan Zečević and director and screenwriter Đorđe Milosavljević.
The Golden Corn for Best Director, accompanied by a €1,500 cash prize, was awarded to Marko Novaković for film „Accomplices“, while the Golden Corn for Best Film was awarded to the film „Bird Boy“, directed by Savely Osadchyi.

The Golden Corn for Best Actor, accompanied by a €1,000 cash prize sponsored by GORKI LIST, was presented to Ubeimar Rios for his performance in "The Poet", directed by Simón Mesa Soto.

The Audience Award for the Best Film, accompanied by a €500 cash prize, was presented to „DJ Ahmet“, directed by Georgi M. Unkovski. The Audience Jury was chaired by Sanja Mićić, representative of Telekom Srbija, with Mira Gvozdenac, retired professor, and Olivera Pantović, Principal of the „Branko Radičević“ Primary School in Ravno Selo, serving as jury members.

In the documentary competition „Short 100 Minutes“, which this year featured films from Mexico, Canada, Poland, India, Bulgaria, North Macedonia, Belgium, Lithuania and Russia. Golden Corn for Best Documentary Film, together with a €500 cash prize, went to the film „Only If the Baby Cries“ by Indian director Shadab Farooq. The winner was selected by a single-member jury chaired by Giuseppe Panebianco, Artistic Director of the i-Fest International Film Festival.

The First Meter Award for Best Student Film, accompanied by a €500 cash prize, was presented to „They Will Love Me Now“ by Nikulás Tumi Hlynsson, a student at FAMU Film Academy in Prague. A Special Mention in the same category was awarded to Petr Vlček for his film „Fathers“.

As part of the closing ceremony, the audience also watched the short films created by local schoolchildren during the Filmić workshop in Ravno Selo, under the mentorship of Petar Pešut.

Lazar Ristovski, founder and festival director, said during the closing ceremony: "I am happy that next year we will celebrate the festival's first major milestone -the 10th Ravno Selo Film Festival. This year's edition was truly special, thanks to the large number of guests from abroad and across the region, as well as the video messages of support and congratulations we received from filmmakers and award winners from around the world. All of this came together to create a remarkable success and a shared sense of emotion. I believe this year's festival has been our finest and most emotional edition to date."

The festival was supported by the Government of the Autonomous Province of Vojvodina, the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Serbia, the Provincial Secretariat for Culture, the Film Center Serbia, the Municipality of Vrbas, the Vrbas Cultural Centre, the Vrbas Centre for Physical Culture, and the Local Community of Ravno Selo. The festival's general sponsor is Telekom Srbija.

Over the course of four days, the Ravno Selo Film Festival once again demonstrated that cinema can serve as a powerful platform for bringing communities together, encouraging dialogue, and fostering new cultural connections.

The festival, created from the idea of bringing film back to audiences and communities outside major cultural centers, once again brings a rich, diverse, and carefully curated program primarily intended for young authors, new cinematic voices, and audiences who enjoy discovering different, fresh, and authentic film stories.

The main program of this year's festival will feature 12 feature-length fiction films selected by guest curator Andrej Klemenčič. The program brings together filmmakers from Serbia, North Macedonia, Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Spain, France, the United Kingdom, Colombia, Italy, Germany, Australia, Russia, the United States, the Czech Republic, and other countries, reaffirming the festival’s international character and its openness to diverse cinematic styles, generations, and artistic sensibilities.

In addition to the main feature film selection, audiences can also expect a short documentary program, as well as a student selection dedicated to the youngest filmmakers and their first professional steps. It is precisely within these program segments that the Ravno Selo Film Festival further confirms its mission to be a space for encounters, support, and visibility for new authors.

A special part of the festival will also be the accompanying program, conversations with authors, meetings between filmmakers and audiences, as well as content intended for young people, through which the festival continues to develop its educational character and bring film closer to new generations of viewers.

As tradition dictates, the official opening of the festival will be marked by a performance of film music, creating the recognizable atmosphere of Ravno Selo, ceremonial, warm, and cinematic.

“As we approach this year’s festival, I am excited about everything that awaits us, and honestly, I am already thinking a little about the tenth, jubilee festival. I hope that is not immodest, but my satisfaction is truly immense as we approach that important anniversary. We are promoters of new cinematic thought. We are a small community and a small festival, but a festival that grows together with the authors who come here with their films and later become stars in the global film sky. Hospitable hosts await you, ready to open the doors of their homes. And besides a celebration of film, we are preparing a celebration for the other senses as well: music, homemade food, and valuable awards for the winners,” emphasizes Lazar Ristovski, the festival’s founder.

The main festival program will open on Thursday, June 25 at 9 PM with the film “Nuremberg,” directed by James Vanderbilt, a psychological thriller starring Russell Crowe as Nazi criminal Hermann Göring, following one of the greatest war crimes trials. Rami Malek plays an American military psychiatrist tasked with assessing the mental state of Göring and the other criminals on trial.

In addition to this cinematic treat, Klemenčić’s selection for this year’s main festival program also includes the following works:

“South Wind” (“Južina”), the debut feature film by director Ante Marin. The burden of the southern wind awakens suppressed conflicts among five residents of a four-story apartment building in Split, who, pressured by humidity and wind, dance through the film in the famous Dalmatian dialect and with an even more famous temperament.

“Pavilion” (“Paviljon”), directed by Dino Mustafić, featuring an impressive cast including Rade Šerbedžija, Mirjana Karanović, Zijah Sokolović, and Meto Jovanovski. After years of humiliation, the residents of the “Pavilion” retirement home take justice into their own hands and stage a rebellion. Former caregivers become hostages, and the struggle expands beyond the institution into the media sphere.

“The Poet” (“Un Poeta”), signed by Colombian director Simón Mesa Soto, follows the possibility of rebirth for a lonely obsessive poet, Oscar. Until yesterday surrounded only by loneliness and alcohol, Oscar finds inspiration in a young poet named Yurlady, whose talent gives him strength but also pushes him to resolve his life dilemmas.

The drama “One More Round Before Bed” (“La città di pianura”), directed by Francesco Sossai, is a true treat for lovers of the genre. Two broke fifty-year-olds obsessed with “one last drink before bed” meet a naive architecture student. Taking him under their wing, these mentors completely change his perspective on love and life.

The Australian feature documentary “The Raftsmen,” directed by Chadden Hunter, presents the longest raft journey in the world from Ecuador to Australia.

“How To Make A Killing,” directed by Jon Patton Ford, is a blend of black comedy and thriller inspired by the 1949 film “Kind Hearts and Coronets.” Beckett, masterfully played by Glen Powell, is the illegitimate child of a teenage mother whom a wealthy family rejected. Determined to reclaim the fortune that rightfully belongs to him, Beckett begins eliminating the arrogant family members one by one.

Actors Dustin Hoffman and Jean Reno are the best recommendation for the film “Tone of Crime” (“Tuner”), directed by Daniel Roher. The story of piano tuner Nick, who accidentally discovers a method for opening safes and slowly slips into crime, only to be interrupted by falling in love with talented pianist Ruthie, will certainly be interesting to audiences in Ravno Selo.

“Accomplices” (“Saučesnici”), directed by Marko Novaković, follows the fate of an apparently perfect married couple, Branko and Sofija. Branko decides to cover up the truth about an accident they were involved in, while Sofija succumbs to the pressure of conscience, discovering how deeply the social structures around her are soaked in hypocrisy and fear.

“DJ Ahmet,” by Macedonian director Georgi M. Unkovski, deals with the life of a fifteen-year-old village boy who dreams of becoming a DJ, winning over a girl promised to another man, and freeing himself from the limitations imposed by his rural and conservative environment.

“Bird Boy” (“Dečak-ptica”), directed by Savely Osadsky, is based on the story of eighteen-year-old orphan Vanya, whose voice has not yet changed. Facing difficulties in socializing with others, especially with his adoptive family and the girl he falls in love with, Vanya must decide whether he will sound like a child forever or attempt to change his voice and his destiny.

“A Real Man” (“Un hombre de verdad”), by Spanish director Liteo Pedregal. Guillermo, an eighty-year-old neurosurgeon, has spent his entire life accustomed to being served by his wife Maria. After her sudden death, he faces new challenges and the task of becoming “a real man” in his later years.

The Film Center of Serbia covers the "Golden Clip" awards for Best Film, Audience Award for Best Film, and Best Documentary Film.

Over the course of four festival days, Ravno Selo will once again become a meeting place for film, authors, and audiences a small village of great film stories.

  Golden Corn for Best Director and a cash prize of €1,500 was awarded to Emir Kapetanović for the film "When Santa Was a Comunist" (Bosnia and Herzegovina). In a special video message, Emir expressed that, among all the awards the film has received, this one is especially dear to him as it is the first he has received as a director—and particularly meaningful because it comes from the Ravno Selo Film Festival.

  Golden Corn for Best Film and a cash prize of €1,000 went to the film "Isolation" (Serbia) directed by Marko Backović. The jury stated: "The blend of thematic insight and the ability to communicate a serious topic to a wide audience makes 'Isolation' not only the best film of the Ravno Selo Film Festival, but also the sharpest commentary on our time in which reality and spectacle continuously overlap." The award was presented by Mr. Saša Golubović, Head of Fiction Content Procurement at Telekom Serbia.

  Audience Award for Best Film nd a cash prize of €500 was awarded to "A Night with the Rolling Stones" (Cuba) directed by Patricia Ramos. The jury explained: "Set against the backdrop of Havana's first Rolling Stones concert, the film captures a woman's transformation while waiting for a life-changing event. Her relationships—with her mother, her son, and herself—reveal that life in Cuban society is surprisingly similar to our own. The rain-soaked streets, coastal walks, and small daily passions mask themes of coming-of-age, death, and loneliness, making this film an unexpected ambassador of a cinema opening its doors to the world with authentic steps."

  Golden Corn for Best Documentary Film and €500 was awarded to "The Sun Doesn’t Shine On All Sides" (North Macedonia), directed by Gligor Kondovski. "Through a nearly naturalistic authenticity, Kondovski portrays a horseback Elvis wandering through the fields of Gostivar, yearning for a grey but warm homeland, and a Macedonian lament sung in an Australian suburb. From the very first moment, this film brings us closer to the feeling of rootlessness and the search for intimacy in what we call 'foreign land'. A blend of Macedonian, Balkan, Australian and American elements wrapped in a rock-and-roll nostalgia results in a warm, engaging film that invites us to reflect on belonging and the desire for a life that may be harder but more meaningful."

Once again, GORKI LIST awarded the Best Young Actor/Actress prize (€1,000), which went to Teodora Tomašev for her role as Mirjana in the film "Običaji" by Peđa Marković. "Teodora skillfully navigated the emotional spectrum of the character, handling the complex interplay of respect, intimacy, and emotional conflict between desires and fears. She undoubtedly deserves recognition for her dedicated and precise performance."

  The First Meter Award for Best Student Film and €500 went to Kristijan Kostadinovski for his film "Symphony" (North Macedonia). The jury emphasized: "Kristijan demonstrates outstanding directorial talent, far surpassing the boundaries of a student film, through his understanding of film language and mise-en-scène. Even though the camera remains static throughout, the dynamic is built through powerful performances and atmospheric tension. Together with cinematographer Ana Pavlovska, he masterfully portrays Skopje not just as a setting, but as a dramatic character. Kostadinovski is undoubtedly a new directorial hope for North Macedonia and the region."

During the festival, three student films were shot under the mentorship of Miloš Čolić. The main prize went to "The Funniest Joke in the World", created by the Smederevo team, praised for its "remarkable sense of humor, imagination, and unique cinematic vision expressed through a genre-blending comedy with elements of horror, drawing inspiration from the local environment of Ravno Selo."

The jury was led by celebrated actress Nada Blam with members Aleksandar Protić, Miroslav Lekić for the main program, Stefan Orlandić for student films and Andrej Klemenčić for documentaries.

  Lazar Ristovski, festival founder and director, at the closing ceremony said: "First, I want to thank all of you who have been with us for eight years—attending film screenings, participating in workshops, hosting actors and filmmakers from all over the world—and making us feel at home in Ravno Selo. I am proud and happy that we’ve had yet another successful festival, and I believe my mission is now complete. It's time to pass the torch to younger and more capable people who will continue to develop the Ravno Selo Film Festival and inspire the next generation."

  At the closing ceremony, alongside Dušica Novaković, who delivered stunning renditions of "Golden Day" and "Crazy Little Thing Called Love", the event also featured presentations of the student workshop films, and the main program concluded with a screening of the Cuban film "A Night with the Rolling Stones".

The festival was held with the support of the Provincial Secretariat for Culture, the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Serbia, the City of Vrbas, Zillion Film production company, Film Center Serbia, Gorki List, and Voda Voda.

Zlatni klip za najboljeg reditelja uz novčanu nagradu u iznosu od 1.500 EUR pripao je rediteljki Selin Song za ostvarenje “Prošli životi” (SAD, Južna Koreja).  Žiri je u obrazloženju nagrade ovaj film okarakterisao kao “priču koja na suptilan način duboko emotivno dodiruje bioskopsku publiku terajući je da se zamisli nad pitanjem šta je ono što je zaista važno u našim životima, i da li ćemo te živote podrediti ljubavi, ili ćemo ljubav podrediti životu”.

Zlatni klip za najbolji film i novčana nagrada u iznosu od 1.000 EUR dodeljeni su za film “Nedelja” (Srbija) snimljen po scenariju Stefana Boškovića i u režiji Nemanje Ćeranića i Miloša Radunovića. “Biografska priča inspirisana istinitim događajima iz života jednog od najomiljenijih pevača sa ovih prostora pretočena je u film izuzetne poetske snage koji odlikuje kvalitetan ritam u vođenju radnje, respektabilan produkcioni domet, fascinantan glumački ansambl i sjajan prijem kod publike”, navodi se u obrazloženju žirija.

Zlatni klip za najbolji film po izboru publike i nagrada u iznosu od 500 EUR dodeljeni su filmu “Poslednji strelac” (Srbija) reditelja Darka Nikolića, sa Nenadom Jezdićem u glavnoj ulozi. U obrazloženju odluke navedeno je da je “ovaj uzbudljivi triler, pun neočekivanih obrta i napetih scena, držao publiku u iščekivanju i stalnoj tenziju od početka do kraja”.

Zlatni klip za najbolji dokumentarni film uz novčanu nagradu u iznosu od 500 EUR dodeljen je za film “P ozivi” (Poljska) koji je režirao Ming-Vej Ćiang, “zbog toga što je uspeo da nas uroni u srce jedne prostorije u kojoj kao da se smestio ceo svet i prikaže svu apsurdnost, bol i tragiku, koje svakoga dana, kao u nekom napetom trileru, proživljavaju operatori hitnih službi.” Posebno priznanje (Special mention) žiri je dodelio filmu “Panorama” (Brazil) Džuli Gava i Daniel Leao “zbog toga što nas je podsetio na to da jednostavne amaterske fotografije imaju neverovatnu moć da pokrenu naše unutrašnje procese, probude u nama asocijacije i sećanja i dovedu nas u kontakt sa onim nevidljivim životnim tokom koji svi, koji se bave dokumentarnim filmom, pokušavaju da uhvate”.

Plaketa Prvi metar za najbolji studentski film uz novčanu nagradu u iznosu od 500 EUR dodeljena je rediteljki i scenaristikinji Tini Veličković za film “Tuga” (Severna Makedonija). U obrazloženju žirija stoji da je ovaj film “vešto vođena priča, koja kroz glavnog junaka koji se bori sa posledicama tragedije koja mu se dogodila, vrši svojevrsnu sondažu i vivisekciju društva na vrlo zreo način”.

I ove godine kompanija GORKI LIST dodelila je nagradu za najboljeg mladog glumca ili glumicu festivala u novčanom iznosu od 1.000 EUR, a nagrada je pripala Luni Pilić za ulogu Janje u filmu “Sveta obitelj” (Hrvatska). U obrazloženju nagrade navedeno je da je ova glumica “odmerenim, suptilnim sredstvima pristupila veoma komplikovanom glumačkom zadatku i uspela da uverljivo odigra višeslojan kompleksan lik epohe šezdesetih godina 20. veka”.

Žiri glavnog takmičarskog programa činili su glumica Ana Lečić, reditelj Marko Novaković i glumac Miodrag Radonjić. Filmski montažer i profesor FDU Dragan Dimčić bio je predsednik jednočlanog žirija dokumentarnog programa “Kratkih 100 minuta”, a reditelj Nemanja Ćipranić predsednik jednočlanog žirija selekcije studentskog filma.

Lazar Ristovski, osnivač festivala, na ceremoniji zatvaranja je rekao: „Svih ovih sedam godina borili smo se da festival bude sve vidljiviji i mislim da smo u tome uspeli. Veliku pomoć u tome ste nam pružili vi, koji ste svake večeri popunjavali gledalište ne samo svojim prisustvom, već i svojim duhom i podrškom da ovaj festival i Dom kulture budu ono što jesu. A to je budućnost ovih mladih ljudi. Dobili smo jedan od najlepših kulturnih prostora u celoj Srbiji i sada nam ostaje da taj Dom predamo mladim ljudima koji ovde pohađaju osnovnu školu, kao i onima koji su završili školu i odlučili da ostanu ovde. Čvrsto verujem da među ovim mladim ljudima sigurno postoje i oni koji će napraviti velike karijere“.

Na zatvaranju festivala održana je i projekcija đačkih filmova filmske radionice festivala, a filmski program završen je projekcijom filma “Nedelja” Nemanje Ćeranića i Miloša Radunovića o čuvenom pevaču narodne muzike Džeju Ramadanovskom. Pre same projekcije, ekipa filma poklonila se publici, dok je glavni glumac Husein Alijević Husa otpevao čuveni Džejev hit po kome je naslovljen film.

Lice u fokusu Festivala ove godine bila je Ana Lečić, a raznovrsnu internacionalnu selekciju filmova pripremili su selektor glavnog programa Dragan Jeličić i selektor dokumentarnog programa “Kratkih sto minuta”  Igor Toholj. Prikazano je i devet ostvarenja u programu studentskih filmova, 15 filmova u okviru smotre kratkog đačkog filma “Filmić”, kao i jedna specijalna projekcija.

U okviru pratećeg programa 7. Ravno Selo Film Festivala održana je i radionica za sinhronizaciju crtaća koju su vodili glumci Vesna Paštrović i Marko Marković, kao i likovna kolonija sa temom “Dvorište vetrenjače”.

Festival će ostati upamćen i po koncertnim nastupima i kulturno-umetničkim programima kako velikih domaćih glumačkih i vokalnih zvezda, tako i lokalnih umetnika.

Festival je održan uz podršku Pokrajinskog sekretarijata za kulturu, Ministarstva kulture Republike Srbije, Grada Vrbasa, producentske kuće Zillion film, Filmskog centra Srbije, Gorkog lista i Voda Vode.

Filmski centar Srbije finansijski je podržao nagrade za najbolji film i najbolju režiju.

Ravno Selo Film Festival, an International Festival of debut or sophomore films, will take place this year from June 27 to June 30. The festival is oriented towards young people and represents an international festival for directors of debut or sophomore films. This year’s main festival program will feature 12 feature films, selected by guest curator Dragan Jeličić.

In honor of this year’s event, Lazar Ristovski, founder and director of the Ravno Selo Film Festival, emphasized: „All these years while the festival was ongoing, I have been working towards the construction of a new Cultural Center, which unfortunately burned down seven years ago. This year, we celebrate not only the opening of the new Cultural Center but also the seventh Ravno Selo Film Festival. Our festival is established in honor of the youth, hence it is called a debutant festival, for debut and sophomore films by young authors. We have a selection of student films, as well as short documentaries by young authors. So, everything is dedicated to young people. Our audience mostly consists of young individuals.“ At the end, Lazar Ristovski added: „I invite all those who love film, as well as good entertainment at music concerts after the screenings, to come to Ravno Selo on June 27th when our festival begins, which will last for four days. So, come, because film stories circle through the village.“

The main festival program will open on Thursday, June 27, at 9 p.m. with the screening of the film „Pokidan“ directed by Suzana Purković, based on the motifs of the autobiography „Ovo sam ja“ by singer Aca Lukas.

On Friday, June 28, four films are scheduled for screening. At 5 p.m., the film „Horoz Dovusu“ by Turkish-Iranian director Majid Panahi, about a once successful Turkish war photographer whose life is in chaos two years after escaping from ISIS prison in Mosul. At 7 p.m., the audience will have the opportunity to watch „Excursion“ by Bosnian-Herzegovinian director Una Gunjak, about a teenager from Sarajevo who gets entangled in her own lies after claiming during a game of „truth or dare“ that she had her first sexual experiences. Action movie „The Last Shooter“ by Darko Nikolić, with Nenad Jezdić in the lead role, is on the program at 9 p.m., while the program of the first day of the festival closes at 11 p.m. with the American film „Past Lives“ directed by Celine Song, whose story follows two very close childhood friends who separate after one of them leaves the country.

On the third day of the festival, Saturday, June 29, the audience will be able to watch the film „Mammalia“ by Romanian director Sebastian Mihăilescu, at 5 p.m., in which the main character discovers a world of strange rituals and disturbing communities, while the boundaries between reality and the surreal blur.  At 7 p.m., the American film „A Thousand and One“ directed by A.V. is on the program. Rockwell, in which we follow the disaffected and single Inez, who kidnaps her six-year-old son Terry from a foster family. In the film „Holy Family“ by the Croatian director Vlatka Vorkapić (9 p.m.), wage earner Jana falls into the traps of lies, dark lust, traditionalism and deviant piety in the rural environment. The program of the third day of the festival closes at 11 p.m. with the British film „Polite Society“ directed by Nida Manzoor, whose main character Riya Khan believes that she must save her older sister Lena from her upcoming marriage.

At 7 p.m., the American film „A Thousand and One“ directed by A.V. Rockwell will be screened, following the dissatisfied and free-spirited Inez who kidnaps her six-year-old son Terry from a foster family. In the film „Holy Family“ by Croatian director Vlatka Vorkapić (9 p.m.), a day laborer Jana falls into the traps of lies, dark desires, traditionalism, and deviant piety in a rural environment. The program for the third day of the festival will close at 11 p.m. with the British film „Chosen Circle“ directed by Nida Manzur, whose main character Ria Khan believes she must save her older sister Lena from an impending marriage.

On the last day of the festival, Sunday, June 30, the Ravno Selo Film Festival audience will be able to watch three films. From 5 p.m., Diana Ringo’s „1984“ is on the program, a Finnish-Russian sci-fi film that offers a fresh look at the famous novel of the same name by George Orwell. The film „Only when I Laugh“ by Vanja Juranić, about a housewife in a seemingly idyllic marriage on the Adriatic coast, is on the program at 7:15 p.m., while the festival closes at 9 p.m. with the cinema hit „Nedelja“ by Nemanja Ćeranić and Miloš Radunović, about the famous folk singer Džej Ramadanovski.

The festival is held with the support of the Provincial Secretariat for Culture, the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Serbia, the City of Vrbas, and the production company Zillion film.

Ravno selo Film Festival, Međunarodni festival prvog ili drugog filma, biće održan ove godine od 27. do 30. juna. Festival je orijentisan ka mladima i predstavlja međunarodni festival za reditelje prvog ili drugog filma. U glavnom programu festivala ove godine će biti prikazano 12 dugometražnih igranih fimova, po izboru gostujućeg selektora Dragana Jeličića.

Povodom ovogodišnjeg izdanja manifestacije, Lazar Ristovski, osnivač i direktor Ravno Selo Film Festivala, posebno je istakao: “Sve ove godine dok je festival trajao, ja sam radio na tome da se podigne i novi Dom kulture, koji je nažalost izgoreo pre sedam godina. Ove godine slavimo, dakle, i otvaranje novog Doma kulture i sedmi Ravno Selo film festival. Naš festival je osnovan u čast mladih, zato se i zove debitanski festival, prvog i drugog filma mladih autora. Imamo selekciju studenskog filma, zatim, kratkih dokumentarnih filmova, mladih autora. Dakle, sve je posvećeno mladim ljudima. Našu publiku većinom čine mladi”. Lazar Ristovski je na kraju dodao: “Pozivam sve one koji vole film, ali i dobru zabavu na muzičkim  koncertima posle filmova, da dođu u Ravno Selo 27. juna kada počinje naš festival, koji ce trajati četiri dana. Tako da dođite, jer selom kruže filmske priče.”

Glavni festivalski program će u četvrtak, 27. juna u 21 čas, otvoriti film “Pokidan” rediteljke Suzane Purković, nastao po motivima autobiografije “Ovo sam ja” pevača Ace Lukasa.

U petak, 28. juna, na programu su četiri ostvarenja. U 17 časova biće prikazan film “Borba petlova” tursko-iranskog reditelja Madžida Panahija, o nekada uspešnom turskom ratnom fotografiju čiji je život u haosu, dve godine nakon bekstva iz zatvora ISIS-a u Mosulu. Od 19h publika će moći da pogleda ostvarenje “Ekskurzija” bosanskohercegovačke rediteljke Une Gunjak, o tinejdžerki iz Sarajeva koja se upliće u sopstvene laži, nakon što je tokom igre “istina ili “izazov” tvrdila da je imala prve seksualne odnose. Akcioni film “Poslednji strelac” Darka Nikolića, sa Nenadom Jezdićem u glavnoj ulozi, na programu je 21 čas, dok program prvog festivalskog dana u 23h zatvara američki film “Prošli životi” rediteljke Selin Song, čija priča  prati dvoje veoma povezanih prijatelja iz detinjstva koji se razdvajaju nakon što jedno od njih odlazi iz zemlje.

Trećeg dana festivala, u subotu 29. juna, publika će od 17 časova moći da pogleda film „Mammalia“ rumunskog reditelja Sebastijana Mihajleskua, u kome glavni junak otkriva svet čudnih rituala i uznemirujućih zajednica, dok se zamagljuju granice između realnosti i nadrealnog. U 19 časova na programu je američki film “Hiljadu i jedan” u režiji A.V. Rokvela, u kome pratimo nezadovoljnu i slobodnu Inez koja kidnapuje svog šestogodišnjeg sina Terija iz hraniteljske porodice. U filmu “Sveta obitelj” hrvatske rediteljke Vlatke Vorkapić (21h) nadničarka Jana upada u zamke laži, mračne požude, tradicionalizma i devijatne pobožnosti u seoskoj sredini. Program trećeg dana festivala u 23h zatvara britanski fim “Odabrano društvo” rediteljke Nide Manzur, čija glavna junakinja Rija Kan veruje da mora da spasi svoju stariju sestru Lenu od predstojećeg braka.

Poslednjeg festivalskog dana, u nedelju 30. juna, publika Ravno Selo Film Festivala će moći da pogleda tri filma. Od 17 časova na programu je „1984“ Dijane Ringo, finsko-ruski naučno-fantastični film koji pruža svež pogled na čuveni istoimeni roman Džordža Orvela. Film „Samo kad se smijem“ Vanje Juranić, o domaćici u samo naizgled idiličnom braku na obali Jadrana, na programu je u 19:15h, dok festival u 21h zatvara bioskopski hit „Nedelja“ Nemanje Ćeranića i Miloša Radunovića o čuvenom pevaču narodne muzike Džeju Ramadanovskom.

Festival se održava uz podršku Pokrajinskog sekretarijata za kulturu, Ministarstva kulture Republike Srbije, Grada Vrbasa i producentske kuće Zillion film.

The session was attended by the founder of the festival, Lazar Ristovski, together with his sons Peter Ristovski, director of the festival, Jovan Ristovski, producer of the festival, artistic director Marko Čkonjević, and selector Dragan Jeličić.

The session discussed various aspects of the festival, including program content and marketing strategies. One of the key topics of discussion was the idea of making this year’s festival even more accessible and attractive to a wider audience, both local and international.

After seven years, a new House of Culture was built on the site of the burned one, and now the festival will operate in much better conditions and will be able to offer a more extensive and high-quality film program in all categories.

• The International First or Second Film Festival will be held this year from June 27 to 30, 2024, and applications can be sent via FilmFreeway platform or via Official RSFF website.

The invitation is published for:

1. Authors of the debut (1^st ) and sophomore (2^nd) feature films. Minimum length 70 minutes.
2. „Short 100 minutes“ selection. Debut (1^st ) and sophomore (2^nd) short documentary or short feature film up to 20 minutes long.
3. Short films from official film schools from all over the world are eligible to apply. Length of films up to 15 minutes.

The competition is open until May 1, 2024.

Sednici su prisustovali osnivač festivala, Lazar Ristovski, zajedno sa sinovima Petrom Ristovskim, direktorom festivala, Jovanom Ristovskim, producentom festivala, umetnički direktor Marko Čkonjević, i selektor Dragan Jeličić.

Na sednici je bilo reči o različitim aspektima festivala, uključujući programski sadržaj i marketinške strategije. Jedna od ključnih tema diskusije bila je ideja da se ovogodišnji festival učini još pristupačnijim i privlačnijim široj publici, kako lokalnoj tako i internacionalnoj.

Posle sedam godina, na mestu izgorelog, izgrađen je novi Dom Kulture i sada će festival raditi u mnogo boljim uslovima i moći će da ponudi obimniji i kvalitetniji filmski program u svim kategorijama.

Međunarodni festival prvog ili drugog filma biće održan ove godine od 27. do 30. juna 2024, a prijave možete poslati putem FilmFreeway platforme ili putem zvaničnog RSFF sajta.

Objavljujemo poziv:

1. Autorima 1. i 2. dugometražnog igranog filma. Minimalna dužina 70 minuta.
