Alek is a young man who works at a marketing agency. It is a monotonous job that suppresses his desire to create music. Alek finds himself in conflict between his desires and the life imposed on him by society.
Unable to stand up for himself, he feels trapped, like a stranger in his own life. He wants to quit and focus on music, but he doesn’t believe in himself, feels worthless, and is pushed to the edge — both literally and metaphorically.
As Alek spends his day, we see moments from the lives of people in the city who face similar, and even more severe, existential problems.

During the day, he drives people around and spends the day lonely. He is a man of contemplation and spends most of his time listening to the people he meets. He goes to his godfather’s for dinner and postpones the relative’s call again. The next day, he visits a mental health institution to see his brother. In conversation with his brother, who is slowly losing touch with reality, he sits quietly and listens as his brother recounts a story about a dove.
